At King James, we are constantly adding new stock to our Academy Library to make sure there is something for all ages and all interests.

Throughout September, students put forward ideas for new genres, titles and authors of books that they would like to see on the shelves and now, we have taken delivery of over 90 new books to promote reading for pleasure.

A significant number of the new books are manga and graphic novels, including favourites such as Marvel and DC, however there are also adaptations of books like "To All the Boys I've Loved Before", and a wide variety of non-fiction examples and quick reads. We have also invested in a selection of dyslexia friendly and large print books, all of which help to celebrate the National Year of Reading.
