Year 13 Media Studies students are currently working on a magazine production unit which involves organising a creative photoshoot to get images for their double page spread.

The brief involves creating spreads for a new lifestyle magazine which means that students were able to select a topic of their choice.

YoYo C decided to explore the unreasonable pressure that is often put on women in todays society to be 'perfect'. Not only are they expected to look a certain way, but they must also achieve perfect grades at school and university, achieve a top career, and go on to be the 'perfect' wife and mother. For many, the concept of perfection is an unachievable goal that leads to negativity and low self-esteem.
