At King James, we are constantly adding new stock to our Academy Library to make sure there is something suitable for all ages, abilities and interests.

Throughout September, students suggested ideas for new titles and authors of over 90 new books to promote reading for pleasure.

A significant number of the new books are graphic novels, including favourites such as Marvel and DC, but there are also adaptations of books like "To All the Boys I've Loved Before", a wide variety of new manga novels, plus non-fiction and quick reads. We have also invested in a selection of dyslexia friendly and large print books, all of which help to celebrate the National Year of Reading.
